The first customer slated to deploy TransactAssure is Linx LLC, a financial services start-up that serves institutional investors and broker-dealers and, accordingly, requires both high availability and a low total cost of ownership.

Linx seeks to improve the listed block trading process through cooperation and integration with the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), its member firms and institutional investors. Quadrix Solutions' TransactAssure is the industry's first architecture to deploy Oracle 9i Real Application Clusters (RAC) in several highly available configurations, using any combination of Sun, EMC or internal storage; Sun, Sun OEM or Intel servers; Sun, Veritas, or clustered Linux servers. The TransactAssure architecture can also support highly available MySQL configurations on those same platforms. In the past, these configurations were not feasible.
